	Our white-tailed deer hunting is excellent as the population has exploded in the past decade and the vast wilderness in the area enables bucks to mature (five to seven year old bucks are not uncommon). Healthy wild rice beds in the area provide excellent feed for ducks and geese throughout the fall with large flocks of mallards, geese, teal, scaup, buffleheads and goldeneyes providing great shooting opportunities. 			At Lake of the Woods Experience, we will go the extra mile to ensure that you have a successful and memorable hunt. During deer hunts, guests have the greatest success while in our strategically placed ladder stands. However, we recognize that every guest has their preferred hunting style so we offer excellent opportunities for still hunting, ground blinds, and drives. During our waterfowl hunts sit back in one of our blinds, listen to your guide call, and then watch our black lab, Sage, retrieve your downed birds. The fall provides terrific fishing opportunities and some angling can be included as part of your hunting trip.
